Sixteen boats came out on the 23rd may for the third race in the Willis Sails Winter race series with a forecast of rain and 15 to 20 knots of NE breeze. The breeze kicked in but the rain held off making for a pleasant days sail.
A division had a very congested start but got away cleanly towards the 
Black Rocks with Animal Biscuits leading the way. She eventually crossed the line eight minutes ahead of Razzel with Deep Throttle just 16 seconds back. Forty five minutes back and eighth over the line was Wasted Away who won the handicap division from Tongue Twister and Petty Cash. PHRF was taken by Tongue Twister from Physical Favours and Wild Card.
In B division That Girl sporting a new modern rudder cleared out and crossed the line five minutes ahead of Wavelength with Bedouin close behind. Only nine seconds separated Bedouin, first from That Girl on handicap with Aalita third.
